New Year, New News!

Well here we are firmly in to 2010 and what a year it's been so far! We moved into new offices at the end of last year and that was quickly followed by the arrival of our new buyer and operations manager, Helen Todd, who has joined The Last Detail to support me on ensuring that the service you get from the point of ordering to the point of delivery, and after, remains exceptional. She is also responsible for sourcing and hand picking our gorgeous new gifts range, which you will see grow and develop over the coming year. 

We've seen a really big move to a lot of you staying in instead of eating out and a sudden return to wanting to dress your supper or dinner tables to ensure maximum impact and effort. The great thing about table decorations is you can spend very little and still create a stylish yet unfussy look on your tables. There also seems to have been a dramatic increase in the number of milestone wedding anniversary celebrations - we've accessorised countless golden and silver wedding aniversary parties and boy are you not afraid to use colour! Hot pink, purple, orange, monochrome - there's no stopping you!

We are predicting that purple will be "the" colour of 2010 for weddings and parties and the hot theme for this year? Great Britain! Take that Union Jack and make it's colours or style work in wihcihever way you choose, but this will without doubt be the biggest trend hitting the hippest tables in 2010.
