Paris & Moulin Rouge
For a Paris-themed wedding or party, take your inspiration from the city - think extravangence, think glamour; the Moulin Rouge, the Eiffel Tower, L'Arc de Triomphe. There are many different moods and looks you can capture for this theme - it really depends on your personal preference and personality!
Our favourite Paris look is ‘Moulin Rouge' - lots of toile and feathers coupled with the signature colours of black, red and white.

Here's how to create your very own Moulin Rouge table:

Start off with the table names. Instead of simply using numbers, why not name each table after an area of Paris? Use black and white classic postcards or, if you've been to Paris, why not use photos from your trip? Not only will it create a feeling of nostalgia but it will also provide your guests with a talking point. |

Feathers are key for this look so use plenty! Create a dramatic centre piece with elegant plume feathers and place a single red or black feather into each guest's wine glass |

For place cards, accessorize a classic white place card with a black or red feather slotted into the corner of each card. Alternatively, use a miniature jewelled frame to double up as a place card and favour in one |

Scatter some red or raspberry rose petals across the table, or, to make a really bold statement, use black rose petals |

Tie black organza ribbon around rolled up white napkins, perhaps adding a black feather into each bow for extra opulence |

Place black tuxedo boxes filled with black chocolate hearts onto each of the men's plates and give each of the women a black handbag favour decorated with a black or red crystal jewel spray or a black glitter butterfly. |

If you want to add a bit of the sparkle, place some party poppers around the table. Choose from the black and white After Dark ‘posh' party poppers in a beautiful damask design or the shiny red or silver cone poppers. |

Bring out the big kid in your guests by putting some indoor sparklers on each table. Choose from the Pretty Parlour sparklers which come in a gorgeous red tin, the small straight silver sparklers in a black tube or the heart or star-shaped sparklers. |

Keep your guests entertained by placing some table games on each table. Make sure people take plenty of pics on your big day by placing some disposable cameras on the table - they come in a plethora of different colours but stick to black, red or silver ones to co-ordinate with your theme. If you're not having a flower arrangement in the centre of each table, you could fill a glass bowl with disposable cameras instead as a focal point |

Lastly, make sure all your precious memories are captured in a way that reflects the effort you put into your special day - have a guest book on display at the reception so that your guests can write down their thoughts and emotions for you and invest in a special photo album that allows you to display all your photos in style as well as a matching keepsake box to store all the special mementoes surrounding the day such as well-wishing cards from friends and family.
