q

I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to dressing the Christmas Lunch table and always decorate the house based around reds, greens and gold's.

This year, I'm going to update the look slightly by loosely scattering beautiful red rose petals over our Christmas table to complement the church candles surrounded by holly from our garden in the table centre. I'll also be tying red organza ribbon round crisp white linen napkins and placing a very light scattering of gold stars across the table to add a little bit of Christmas sparkle.

As a treat for my children, I think I'll add our gold star-shaped sparklers to their puddings and if they are extra well-behaved I may even consider adding my son Henry's "most favourite thing in the whole world" to the Christmas pudding - a stunning ice fountain that is perfect to bring some extra sparkle to the table.

Should we have any dinner parties over the festive period I may try out our new table games with trivia questions based around general knowledge, music or celebrities - they are ideal for after dinner entertainment and are also great ice-breakers if you need some help to get your guests talking!

New Year on the other hand is for making a statement and for me this year there are two contenders. Rich, confident and dramatic black, or opulent, warm and fun pinks and reds. With two new party ranges offering a gorgeous array of products in both these colours, you can choose between party poppers, place cards and table games.

Our new After dark party product range looks like being an instant bestseller. From place cards and elegant cone shaped party poppers, to table games that will catapult you back to your childhood - and all in classic black and white. Accessorise with black rose petals or feathers together with white linen napkins tied with black organza ribbon.
