A beautiful Chinese tradition dating back to the 13th century, sky lanterns are lit and released to symbolise hope, good wishes and prosperity and make a serene and peaceful display that can be enjoyed by everyone. Once lit and released, the lanterns float gently up into the sky, creating a beautiful and mesmerising effect.

Each lantern is sold fully assembled with a solid fuel wick. Laboratory tested in the UK, the wick is made from paper that is coated in a non toxic candle wax, and the lantern itself is made from fire retardant paper. Completely wirefree and fully biodegradable. We strongly advise that these are lit in a wide open space and only handled by adults. Our lanterns are safe to be taken on an aeroplane as they are not explosive in any way. 94cm x 56cm fully inflated.
