I’m on a tight budget – is there anyway to save money on the wedding photographer?

It’s best not to cut corners on your wedding photography; it’s the one thing you’ll return to time and time again once your big day is over! There are however ways you may be able to negotiate a better price with your chosen photographer. As with many venues, some photographers run cheaper packages on weekdays or may consider doing this.

Cutting corners on your wedding photography could lead to heartache later

You may be able to run with a package that does not initially include an album, which could be added later (once funds are recouped!). Due to popular demand and tighter budgets, I decided to run packages that include a high-resolution disk that can be printed from as oppose to albums and prints. If you choose a photographer who is happy to provide you with such a disk, do ask if they have a printer they can recommend as the print results from a pro-lab versus your local supermarket or chemist can sometimes have a dramatic effect on the final look of your photos.

Ask you photograqpher for disks of images

If you find you do not have the funds for your photographer to create a professional album, there are lots of cheap and cheerful options you can try by searching on the web or asking your local printers. They will not be ‘archival’ quality but certainly worth investigating versus not having an album at all!
