I started The Last Detail in 2002, after a highly frustrating 6 months planning my own wedding ... and struggling to find anyone who stocked table decorations, party products and favours that didn't look cheap! I also found that I couldn't get everything I needed from the same place and [as I was also working full time] I just didn't have the time to shop around.
Initially the business started as a very small shop [OK, a small room!], based above a bridal wear studio, where we stocked about 50 different products. We launched our internet site shortly after, and now - after 5 years, 2 warehouse moves, 2 babies and a family sick of the sight of packing boxes and weighing feathers! - we are pleased to offer a state-of-the-art website with over 600 different products sourced from around the world.
We pride ourselves on being a small [but continually growing] business which offers great personal service and support, and continually strives to offer stylish, high quality products at the best value for money.
It must be something about weddings ... our customers are wonderful, and without them, we would be nowhere. It's a team effort to generate a great wedding and a growing business.
